Elephants

In Jaipur we were fortunate that our guide had an in with the guy who owned all the elephants used to give tourists rides up to the Amber Fort. We got a special ride by ourselves at his elephant ranch instead of having to ride on the streets with all the other tourists. No question that this was a bigger thrill for me than it was for Giggie and Boppa, but they were good sports.

Then when we arrived in Ranthambhore, we were greeted by men on elephants at the Oberoi. Littled did we know, we could have enjoyed a ride around the hotel's park-like property. Our one regret of this trip is that we didn't build in an extra day to just hang out at the Vanyavilas.
