Jaipur Observatory

This place was SO cool. Features the world's largest (?) sundial, and we checked one of the other sundials and found that it was accurate within about a half a minute. The smaller sundials are based on each astrological sign, and the sunken bowls were also used for astrology tracking as they showed how where the sun was in relation to each sign at any hour of any given day. People in India take their astrology *very* seriously and do make their life decisions and plans based on what's astrologically advantageous or auspicious.
