Home again, home again, jiggety jig

Back home now. Big thanks to cute Tom Michael, station manager of the very fine Marfa Public Radio (now on air for about 2 weeks and streaming live on the web) for passing my info to Lonn Taylor. And to Lonn himself (on air Mondays at 9:00 Marfa time) for sending the transcript of his essay comparing Santa Fe and Marfa.


Spent Sunday trying my hand at making yeast donuts. First batch didn't rise much, but the second batch was pretty close to perfect. Now seeking a recipe for good fried pies before the good nectarines disappear entirely from the farmer's market.
