Milk man et al

I saw milk men with as many as 5 of these big cans hanging off their bikes, and was amazed they could actually still ride them.

Money changers, not to change currencies, but to take old worn bills or large bills and convert them to easier to use coinage. For a fee, of course. Vendors are allowed to refuse to accept ratty bills, so these services are necessary for any shoppers who inadvertently accept unusable currency.

Staples of the Indian diet. (except for Jains, of course.)
